Nice job on the mod. The steering needs to be looked at. It takes a quarter turn of the steering wheel before it starts turning. Then it turns abrubtly, like it's hanging up somewhere. Visually the wheels turn, but there is a delay in the truck turning.

Wrangler that is typical of these old truck in real life got one on the place & its the same way big steering wheel & big tires quarter turn before turning, id love to see more variant options of this truck like a 5 yard dump truck bed or winch poles on the rear or log bunks . one sweet mod no major issues for me with it, a few errors nothing major that affect game play with it.

@ Ford fan 69 - As an old trucker, I know of what you speak. For me, this is different. There is no way to make small adjustments to your direction. After the quarter turn, it shoots off in the direction you're turning, causing you to turn in the other direction, after which it shoots off in that direction. I tried to record a courseplay course with it, and even it has it jerking back and forth when playing the course. I'm sure it's just a small adjustment in the steering in the xml file.

@WRANGLER

Ya, I definitely know what you mean. My courseplay does the same. I'll have it fixed in the next version.

https://hum3d.com/3d-models/mack-f700-tractor-truck-1962/ This could work to if that is not a good one, sadly it cost 95 DOLLARS, that's crapton of money but I suppose people are very deticated. Just do what you like.

Wrangler do you have any steering mods in your folder? I used to use realistic steering and it messed up on a few mods. I have not tried this mod yet.. but just a thought.

@ Jdtman - No, don't use any steering mods. I have a dozen other truck mods running in the map and none behave this way. I'm sure jmods will be able to fix it.

I might add that if you're using the keyboard to steer, you probably won't notice it that much. Steering with the keyboard is jerky all on it's own. I use the logitech Saitek wheel. It's also noticeable when using courseplay.
