Maybe someone who made this mod an explain how it works, as I see, it does nothing. just a square of forest ground.

I can use the in game terrain editor to make forest ground, just as easy.

Sorry, just figured out I have mod conflict, so it does work.

SR007, What I did is dump all my mods and just have the one PLACEABLE FOREST AREA mod, and it worked, then kept adding back all my mod I use often, so I never did add all the mods back because some I just don't use. So not sure what mod caused the conflict.

So maybe start with just the one mod and keep adding back a few mods, then check and see if it still works. keep doing that until you find the mod that causes the problem.
