Finally, it is possible to do forestry work in FS 13. Plant trees, watch them growing and take the chain saw to cut down your trees.

Yeah, cant attach the damcon tree planter!
How do you grab logs? With witch button?
Press both left and right mouse button and move mouse up or down.
But strange that the planter cant be use, as it worked in first version. :-/

Cannot cut the trees down. Can turn and activate the chainsaw when not near a tree, but when near a tree it crashes the game.
the crashing when cutting trees is from version 1.0, i would presume this version 2.0 is the same as i downloaded from http://farming-simulator.com/mod.php?lang=de&mod_id=382 (now removed) which works.
If you do not like the key settings of the cranes and claws, you can change the settings in the submenu "options/key settings" in the game's main menu ;)

Zach, should work on most maps, ive tried it on Springhill Valley with no problems.
When you say it wont work, whats it doing or not doing? Do the items show up in the shop?
Mod works great thanks for the upload. I have no problems with any of the machines in the pack, everything works great. If you are getting crashes when trying to cut tress then your pc can't handle that many trees. Thanks again this mod brings a new thing to do on all my old maps.

planter will not hook up to ANY tractor it will give me the signal to attach and nothing happens it just sits there and wount do nothing
hving problems with the planter will hook up but if you unhook it it will not hook up again . and when I save and comeback all my trees are gone. and game crashes if I try to cut down a tree. any help would be greatly appreciated.

when i say it will not work i mean i will put it in my mod folder and it will not show up in my farm shop. i have tried everymap possiable and nothing.. is it because it is beta and not a real version?

Wow ... this is great ... everything seems to work .... planted trees ... cut them all down ... loaded and sold them. I love that wood chipper ... lol ... especially feeding it whole trees ... lots of fun.

Zach, only time that happened is when i downloaded it a 2nd time and it downloaded with aForestMod(1) and the mods folder only recognises aForestMod. Check the name, drag it back out of folder, start game, quit game, drag it back in folder and start game, hopefully should appear. If not, no idea, been a beta shouldnt make too much difference unless it clashes with a mod you already have installed.
if you have a problem with the chainsaw, replace the trunk.lua file in the modfolder-scripts, replace with this: http://www.file-upload.net/download-9093185/Trunk.lua.html . it works fine after.
if you cant attach the seeder, buy Everything in the forest folder then buy the seeder and try. if you dowloaded the holzback, you need buy that first in order to use the seeder. thats a bug.

Found a glitch ... large log trailer included in zip causes logs to act violently and do some crazy whipping around (first time trying it out).
Posted pic#13 ... flying log trailer ... lol ... craziest thing I've seen in a while.
Also Weidemann Wood Claw .... logs get stuck to it quite a bit ... real pain in the ass!

Damcon PL 40 Planter wont hook to ANY tractor, it will give me the signal to attach but nothing happens it just sits there which makes growing trees kinda hard. Plz fix this and I would be very happy =)

when ever I download the mod to my windows 8 computer nothing happens. no machines show up in the shop or anything. I would love this mod to do forestry work it looks fun. but what am I doing wrong? someone help me please!
I am having problems with the mods 1: as u can see the jenz is up in the air and wont attach 2: the tree hauler wont attach to any tractor 3: the chain saw no fuel level showing please help...

somebody PLEASE help me. I am using windows, I downloaded the mod and it shows up in the in game shop, but when I try to purchase one of the forestry items it says "No more space! Remove the purchased items first." but it lets me buy any of the other items except for the forestry ones. HELP
