Grimme Maxtron 620 MultiFruit V1.3

DESCRIPTION

I'll make this short and sweet ....

- 3 new crops ... Peanuts, Blackeye Peas, and Cotton (Updated to support Missouri USA map)
- Fixed Sugar Beet issue ... will now harvest sugar beets without topping them first (good news right?)
- Tweaked some texture diffuse files (scaled them to match up a little better with discharge particles)

If you find a problem ... please let me know by posting in the comments section what it is so I can address it immediately ... thanks

I am having an issue with the fruit planes they fliker all the time on the conver belts instead of being just the belts it has fruit on them and it is constant I took all other mods out of my folder thinking it could be a mod conflict but it is still their all the fruits the combine will harvest flickering on both the intake belt and the off loading belt I will try to add a pic so you can see what I am talking about

Only time it does that is when someone tries to added red or white cabbage or something is a miss in the xml file (which is a clear sign I made a mistake in the xml code).

Guess it could've gotten corrupted during the upload or something but I've tested it quite a bit looking for that exact issue and it never popped up once ... have you tried re-downloading it?

Anyone else having the same issue?

Checkout my photos I posted ... if that were the case ... all fruits would've showed up flickering on the conveyor belts when I took the screen captures ... just saying.

I took screen captures right before uploading it.

I'll download to file from here and see if if it's working and if it's been corrupted or altered.

well I have tried time and time again to upload a pic of this but its not happening I will redownload it and load only him in the mod folder and see what happens if I still get the same thing I will take screen shots and try to upload them again but this is a great mod nonetheless it works perfectly just wish I could get that one thing fixed I will report back shortly thank you for your help

Just ran some Sugar Beets on Groednertal ... worked perfectly ... must be something else.

Try re-downloading it.

ok sorry it took so long internet went down so I redownloaded from this site and I ran the mod by its self on the original hagensted map and then the Missouri map and I still get the same results I made sure I had the latest patch 2.1 everything is right but I don't know why I still get this problem any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I'm working on it but I did replicate the problem by stripping out all the mods in my MOD folder and only installing the Grimme Maxtron 620 mod by itself ... and it's flashing all the fruits on the conveyor belts.

Apparently there's another mod that's need for it to work correctly!

I'll try to figure out what mod it is because honestly, I don't know myself ... lol.

Figured it out .... this is going to sound insane but it's the God's honest truth.

The reason the fruits are flashing ... you are missing maps that support those fruits. If a map isn't installed that supports all the extra fruits that I've add to the Maxtron 620 ... that fruit will show up flashing on the conveyor belts and remain there.

This explains why I could never get red & white cabbage to stop flashing on the conveyor belts even though the XML was perfect. I didn't have any maps in my mods folder that supported them.

AgriKult map ... I added the support of harvesting "pea" to the Maxtron 620. If I pull that map from my Mods folder ... guess what shows up on the Grimme's conveyor belts!

.... freaking peas!

You know I should be thanking you ... I've been racking my brain as to why red & white cabbage wouldn't work .... now I know why (Thank You!)

Alternative solution is to make everything non-renderable on conveyor belts ... only particles and fillPlane would be visible ... no more flashing fruit on conveyor belts and you could pull maps from you Mod folder at will. Wouldn't look as realistic but is functional.

Maps needed to stop fruit from flashing on conveyor belts....
1- Missouri USA Final (Fixed) - Blackeye Peas, Cotton, Peanuts
2- Long Castle V4.1 - Apple, Cherry, Plum, Strawberry, Kohlrabi, Hops
3- Groednertal V4.0 - Carrot, Onion, Tomato, Cucumber
4- AgriKult V2.0 - Pea

You can not remove these maps from your Mod folder or you end up with that fruit flashing on conveyor belt.

It doesn't have to be these exact maps ... just maps that support these fruit

You could substitute Region of Kansas for Groednertal since it has the needed Tomato & Cucumber and Long Castle also covers Carrot & Onion.

Who knows ... maybe there's a map out there that supports all of them ... then we'd only need one map (wishful thinking huh?) =)

Well, I guess I'm off to find a map that supports red & white cabbage so I can just add the XML code because the particle & graphics files were added long ago by me ... just couldn't figure out why it refused to work correctly =)

Your probably like "Oh no ... another map I'll have to install!" ... rotflmao.

I'll try to find a good map to make it worth your while =)

or would this work could I modify it to just cotton tomatoes carrots onions suger beats potatoes so it will work on the map I play the most ?

If you try potatoes that will break sugarBeets again if you add that to the FruitPreparer Type.

You can add it but will be forced to top it before harvesting unless you can write a script to toggle the FruitPreparer Type between sugarBeet or potato =)

These 3 maps cover them all ....
1- Missouri USA Final (Fixed) - Blackeye Peas, Cotton, Peanuts
2- Long Castle V4.1 - Apple, Cherry, Plum, Strawberry, Kohlrabi, Hops
3- Multimap v1.0 FIXED - Carrot, Onion, Tomato, Cucumber, Pea, Red & White Cabbage

As soon as I'm satisfied with things during testing with Red & White Cabbage (Code added and working) ... look for the final updated release =)

I think we'll call it quits after that ... 17 supported fruits seems

BTW ... when I do update I'll be sure to inform everyone how to fix this little problem. Other sites downloading the mod from apparently haven't figured out the problem either judging from their pics =)

ok we are at 100% working capability no fruit on the belts I say we made a pretty good team also figured out that you cant simply modify the fruits to fit a map with certin things like I was talking about if you remove one fruit he does not show up in the dealer shop don't know why yet.

Do you know how to use Giants Editor?

If so ... unzip mod ...open mod i3D file in Giants Editor ... then you can make the fruits that you don't use invisible ... just check the Non Renderable box on the Shape tab and those diffuse graphics files will be invisible on the conveyor belts ... you won't need to try and edit the XML file ... making an error ... and causing the mod to not work anymore.
