After a week of having the BETA version out and after making some adjustments I am confident in releasing the post BETA version of Central Ohio. Standard size map, you have a modern farm with 800,000L storage capacity at the main farm and an additional 350,000L capacity at the secondary bins (they show up in the menu as a cumulative storage amount). Cows, Pigs, Sheep and Chickens, multiple sell points, sawmill with large forest areas. The terrain is relatively flat (as it is in central Ohio) the layout of the map was not based off of anything. Standard crops, I decided to leave only the pickup truck as the default vehicle as I play with mostly modded vehicles and would sell all the default vehicles anyway, so again your going to have to add money to get the starting vehicles you want for your style of playing. DO NOT UPLOAD ANYWHERE ELSE WITHOUT PERMISSION.
Things I changed:
-Added Chopped Straw (make sure to unpack in put the choppedstraw zip in your mods folder, same with the animationmaptrigger zip to get the doors to work on the red barn)
-Made a couple of the fields bigger
-Added a livestock market, moved all animal icons to the right spot on the pda
-Fixed some terrain issues (equipment can now smoothly drive through the drainage ditches in the fields that have them)
-Added some more detail around the map (yes there are still some areas that seem empty)
-Cleaned up unused files (as you can see the size was decreased by a decent amount)
-I did not change any of the crop textures as this can be customized by anyone by downloading a certain crop texture and just replacing the .dds image for the crop you want to change in the foliage folder
-Added a liquid fertilizer trigger at the main farm
-Once again this is my first attempt at making a map and modding in general (completely self taught on how to work the editor which I learned can be very frustrating), I could have put more work into this to make it even better but honestly I got burnt out on editing and making this has taking away all the time I have to enjoy and actually play the game. So as long as no major fixes need done, this is the final version.

The person who uploaded this never got permission to upload it here, this is my map and thanks to him I will keep the rest of my mods private from now on, because apparently certain people can't read or don't know how to follow directions and he didn't even put any credits, thanks for that jackass
Well, I for one am glad it is here. What a great map! Really nice job. It is so nice to have a map from home! I live in Columbus. We farm about 2500 acres in Fairfield county.
I appreciate the feedback and I'm glad you enjoy it, there are still a few errors in it, but I made this map exclusively for AEM and ASM sites which are still both public and free sites but I put "don't upload anywhere else" in the description for a reason.
Well, you have to go to the original Giants License agreement and it says very CLEARLY, ALL mods created with Giants Editor that you give up world wide rights to it. You can say all you want, but it says if you share it to anyone, it is public domain at that point. Not knocking your work John, but it is what it is. You dont want it shared then dont share it. period
I agree, sorry to agree John but this happens everyday, been happening since fs13, and some in fs11. I can go edit your map, change one thing and then share it to the world, even call it whaever and there is nothing you can do. You didn't make Farming Simulator, You didn't create and make the Giants Editor, so you can't claim something that you dont own. Get over it or quit modding, there are people out there mainly children that respect no one.
@WJOHN048 ^^ basically that. The Internet has this one basic rule anyways and has since its inception. If you upload it online (it being rhetorical in this case) it is accessible by anyone and everyone. Think of it this way: if you make your mods private, what hell is the point of modding in the first place? It human nature to be upset about your ideas being taken by someone else and being used by someone without any due credit or kudos.
Awesome map. I am always looking for maps from ohio, as i am from northwest area. I am terrible at modding, and am asking a huge favor. Would you be able to convert the JM Gravity wagons to FS 17. I love using equipment that matches the map.

Started in easy, usual 25k, 50k debt, little grains in storage and just the Lizard pickup. No tractors, implements, let alone a harvester. Bankruptcy seems the goal here. :-)

@ALEX2ROUTE if you don't like then don't play it, Instead you can waste two months of your free time to make your own map just to have the credits stolen

On this site yes, there was a couple other sites where the uploader took credit for this mod
I agree with some above, to make a map you need a blank map and where does this map come from the files from giants therefore it belongs giants, all those that make maps or mods if you have taken from the ingame files or taken from a site you CANNOT CLAIM ITS YOURS UNLESS YOU BUILT IT GROUND UP and still part of it belongs giants as your using there software to edit them, if your unsure of this subject read the small print from giants

there is 2 problems that needs to be fixed on it one is the gas station cross from the equiptment dealer can't fill gas tried pushing r on the keyboard and it won't fill gas second issue is the buy point trigger is up off the ground floating in the air at the livestock yard next to the building all in all awesome map
also when you hire a farmer he quits plowing or seeding this map mod needs minor fixing on it Sheesh

where do you find the sell point for egg's drove all over the map looking for it nothing on here even tried the farm equiptment dealership and it didn't work plus you map mod lags a lot to i deleted this off my game love it but it needs major fixing
also there is no storage to store potatoes or beets on the farm either
