You do realize that once you upload to a public access server that your file is then in the public domain and you own no rights to its dissemination.

You do realize that they make a lot of money from hosting the map here? And you do realize that they are not allowed to make money of mods for FS19?
Only "good" thing they've done, is to list the orginal link for the map. Other than that they are just utter scumbags

You are an idiot if you think they don't earn money from this :P When you press the link that is not the google drive, you have to go past a ton of adverts. What do you think happens whit that add revenue?
So here is the deal; I don't mind them hosting the map, as long as they don't make any money on it. There is a reason I didn't ask them to host it in the first place.
But hey you obviously don't care at all so why do we even bother making these mods
I stand corrected. On this site there is no sea of adds before you reach the download page for the mod. I apologize for that claim.
But that doesn't change the fact that I never approved this site for hosting the map.
yup the only money this site makes is from the add revenue you see on the sides, bottom etc.
Most people will complain about them adds too, funny thing is those ads are normally provided by the very search engines you use that collect all the sites you go to and than use that data to try and post ads that you just might click on.
On top of that every single ISP today creates a data base for just such uses and some of them even sell that database to ad content to make

And I also think, modhub.us is one of the few best sites where you should upload your mods, just because downloading works easy. Some fools use links to other sites, but hey, there is still almost all mods here... Btw, this map is awesome! If I wasn't clear before :)
btw, posting something on the internet does not make it public domain. I can't for instance go to your FB page or whatever, copy your user photo and then go around telling everyone it's really a picture of me.
@Datalund, ur map is awesome, dont let this kidz here stop u from doing the great work u do. Many many of us are very thankful for what u do and giving to us. Sadly many of us dont say thank u but we are very thankful. Pls dont stop making ur wonderful mods/maps. Thank you(Tackar så mycket).

It does make it public domain when your initial download is to a publicly accessible website. If you want to pretend you have some control over the file then you make it available only on a pay for play membership only site. But of course someone could then buy it and release it to a public domain so you're screwed. And no matter how you look at it, since every mod out there made for FS19 becomes the intellectual property of GIANTS and they are the only entity that can enforce any rights of Copy

Map looks awesome but is worthless when the doors for animal pens won't open.
As far as I can see this map is a copy of the Loeshügelland map. This map is not made bij Datalund, at least not the lay out. I don't know how rights are but is this not cheating??
You must own the land the stables are on before you can access the doors or buy animals!
@NAME - You can't open any doors or buy animals unless you own the land. It's not an error It's game basics!
@PIJKO - Datalund has credited all the original modders. You can see these credits when you first start the map. And yes, it's based on Loess Hill Country (Lösshügelland) map by TP-Modding. You can stop being bitch now....
why dont you all shut the hell up . (fact) any and all mods for farm simulator are owned and all rights are of GIANTS Software. once they are uploaded for public use you no longer have any rights or say so to where they are uploaded to, how they are modified or how they are used . Read up on all Giants legal and licenses. But there does need to be some sort of respect towards the creators of any mod. you should credit them in description.
