Seven navigation voices with personality, from the creator of the Dash GPS Displays mods. Every turn callout stays short and clear. The voices show their personality when you start a route, arrive, miss a turn, need a U-turn, or drive too fast.
The voices
– The Navigator: Calm, clear, and modern. “Route set. Let’s get going.”
– Old Hand: A gravelly veteran trucker. “Hang a left.” / “Ease off. Smokey’s out there.”
– Southern Belle: Sweet and spunky, with a Southern drawl. “Well, butter my biscuit, we’re hittin’ the road!”
– Dispatch: All business and slightly impatient. “Route loaded. You’re on the clock.”
– Road Trip Buddy: Your excited friend riding shotgun. “Detour! Ooh, scenic route!”
– Grumpy Co-Driver: Sarcastic and unimpressed. “That was the turn. That was the turn.”
– Sassy Mama: A mom who has seen it all. “Did I say turn there? I did not.”
What’s included
– Every voice navigation callout in the game: turns, keep-left/right instructions, exits, “get ready” warnings, two-part “…then turn right” callouts, roundabout exits 1–6, exit-now instructions, and U-turns.
– Several takes for route start, arrival, recalculating, U-turn, and speed-warning lines. A take is selected at random to help keep them from getting old.
– Speed-warning lines for each voice, plus a soft two-tone chime for the sound-only speed alert.
How to use
– Go to Options > Audio > Voice Navigation, tick “Enable voice navigation,” and select an “English – Dash GPS” voice.
– Go to Options > Audio > Speed warning and choose “Voice” to hear the speeding lines.
Compatibility
– Made and tested on 1.61.
– Adds new voices only; it does not replace any SCS voice, so it works alongside other voice packs and all map mods.
– Works with any truck or car, with or without the Dash GPS Displays units.
