This is an iconic Australian muscle car that defined the golden era of high performance, homegrown V8 power, the Holden HG Monaro GTS 350. Introduced in 1970 as part of the HG series, this coupe was the last of the first generation Monaro before the HQ came along in 1971. The GTS 350 of this car was equipped with a Chevrolet-sourced 5.7L (350 cubic inch) V8, which developed 300 horsepower (224 kW) and 379 Nm of torque, and was thus one of the most powerful Australian cars of its time.
