A trailer for 35- and 50-foot vehicles.
The trailer features all-metal construction and is available in two lengths (35 feet and 50 feet), two bed widths (96 inches and 102 inches), and four axle configurations (tridem/tandem single tire, tandem dual tire/single). The suspension consists of sliding leaf springs and has no shock absorbers, while tandem and tridem axles have equalizer beams connecting the leaf springs, much like a vanilla trailer with a drop-bed. Trailer variations have payload ratings ranging from just under 2.5 tons to over 6.6 tons, and each is identified by a unique VIN plate on the front of the trailer for each included configuration. It also features 16x6 modular steel wheels, built from scratch, available in zero offset for singles and 5.35" offset for duals, available in 4 finishes along with custom tires.
The trailer features two 9-foot aluminum ramps located at the rear of the bed and manually operated. Below is a step-by-step operation of the ramps (watch the video below under the spoiler!):
- The trailer is parked on a relatively level surface and stopped.
- The ramps are released by squeezing the trigger on the locking pins.
- The ramps can be held with the assembly grip in either free cam or walk-on mode, then pulled out and aligned under each deck. The left walk-on ramp only works with the left side of the deck and vice versa.
- The trigger on the deck is squeezed and the ramps are secured to the deck. If they don't lock, push them with the knot grip until you hear a click.
- The ramps can be moved left or right depending on the vehicle being loaded, and the vehicle can be loaded.
- The ramps are released using the same trigger on the rear edge of the deck, then pushed back to the center, lifted, and pushed into the inner deck. The placement doesn't have to be precise as long as it's inside the deck.
- The stowage pin triggers are pressed again, the ramps slide, lock, and retract securely.
