1.17:
- The first major addition is a drift configuration. For drifting, use second gear or higher (depending on speed), keep the throttle pinned, control speed with the brakes, steer into the slide, and avoid excessive steering angle.
- The second major addition is a complete suite of electronic driver aids. This includes ABS and traction control with adjustable intervention levels, launch control, quick upshifts and downshifts, and an experimental auto-clutch system (similar to an electronic clutch). Use the realistic transmission mode with clutch assist disabled.
- The PID controller, suspension, several damping and stiffness values, tire stiffness, and other minor parameters have been revised. These changes should greatly improve stability and eliminate high-speed wobbling above 200 mph.
- The three-cylinder engine has received new sounds and now has a much richer audio profile.
- The parallel twin-cylinder engine has also received a new sound, although the author plans to replace it with a completely new one once Engine Simulator 3D is released.
