Hello everyone! I’ve decided to revive an old remaster project I created a long time ago. The mod had stopped working with current versions of the game, so I’m releasing a fix to support update 0.40. It includes updated textures, bug fixes, and potentially some new configurations! Work on the mod is ongoing; I’ve also added an animated antenna (built from scratch) for the Civic model, designed to fit the game’s lore!
Update 0.40:
- Updated several textures;
- Reworked the headlight glow system (added anti-aliasing/smoothing effects);
- Improved configurations;
- Added an animated antenna;
- Added Bride racing seats, as well as mirrors and a steering wheel from Spoon Custom;
- Improved the Advan Racing livery (skin);
- Refined the side windows;
- Added exhaust backfire (flames) for custom exhaust systems;
- Fixed an issue with the Jbeam structure of the spoiler on the Hillclimb version — it no longer "explodes"!
Known issues:
The mod is still a work in progress; this is just the current version.
Some Jbeam structures have yet to be edited, and the doors on the Solstice model are not yet fully polished!
Overall, the Solstice model is still undergoing further refinement!
Update to the old remaster:
What’s new?
Fixed conflicting Jbeam structures between the body and the rear bumper for the Solstice model;
Reworked the front bumper reinforcement (the Solstice is now fully functional);
Fixed conflicting Jbeam structures for the doors and mirrors on the Hatch2 model. A Spoon-style front splitter has been added, along with three new liveries: Spoon, Advan Racing, and Turboburger.
The range of available parts has been expanded: three exhaust system options (Touring, Spoon, and a side-exit exhaust) and two new spoilers have been included.
Spoon decals, inspired by real-world tuning projects, are now available. An "Okuadi Stage 3" rear bumper has been added (my own design—admittedly not perfect).
Three new sets of wheels have been added: Touring, Evo, and Meister.
It is now possible to install engines from the Mazda RX-7, as well as a V8 from the ETK C-Series.
A 6-speed sequential transmission has been added, along with specialized turbochargers for the 1.3-liter rotary engine. A front bash bar is now available, as are Spoon decals for the windshield and rear window.
A custom roof option has been added (my own work; please note that the glass does not shatter).
A "backfire" mod has been included.
Additional elements for the Spoon livery have been added (apologies for the imperfect UV mapping).
Several configurations have been improved.
Paint-related issues across all configurations have finally been resolved—everything now displays correctly.
Please note: This mod is nearly 9 years old, so not everything is perfect!
