A 4x4 km map with a couple of islands.
Cons:
- Quantity is more important than quality.
- Low quality textures.
- Collision problems (rocks)
- Some sections have strange road layout.
- Uneven driveways.
- Map view may work with delays.
- LOD pop-up window.
- Lights don't look the best.
- Blurry road labels, except for AFx16.
- Road a little too wide.
- Lack of off-roading.
- Textures flicker (some).
- Grid overlap (some).
- Cities have a closed layout.
- Sound timing can be unsynchronized.
Most of the minuses could be fixed with more care and attention to detail, but that would make this multi-year project beyond time. (Map made in about 6 months)
Warning: the map has MULTIPLE light sources (and many of them use shadows), so a good video card is required at night.
The author recommends GTX 1060, but even on 3060 the fps is so-so in places.
In version 1.2:
Fixes:
- Fixed some foliage clipping;
- Fixed missing material;
- Fixed blurring of road markings and stickers;
- Fixed visibility of cherry blossoms from afar.
Optimization:
- Added occlusion volumes, which may slightly improve performance and stability;
- Replaced water blocks with rivers, which may improve stability;
- Slightly optimized reflections on water;
- Improved foliage detail levels, they should look better and perform better.
Added:
- 2 garage missions;
- Traffic now stops at give way/stop signs;
- Working gas stations;
- Added several electric car charging stations;
- Leaves now have sounds when diving through them;
- Leaves now have wind animations.
