Skoda Fabia II (2006 2009) Rework 0.38

DESCRIPTION

The Lotus Type 49 was one of the most significant Formula 1 cars of the late 1960s. Built around a 3.0-liter Ford Cosworth DFV V8 engine, it used the engine as a load-bearing part of the chassis—a layout that would subsequently be used in Formula 1 for many years. Jim Clark made a brilliant debut in this car, winning the 1967 Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, securing the first victory for both the Type 49 and the DFV engine.

The car weighed about 540 kg and produced around 410 hp, paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a layout heavily biased toward the rear axle. By today’s standards, it was a very simple car, but at the same time extremely extreme, built with minimal distance between the driver and the mechanical components doing the work.

I tried to take into account feedback on my previous works, mainly regarding the overall setup, tire options, and ease of use. The base configuration still reflects the era, but modern slick tires are also offered as an option for those who want a more controllable version of the car.

Note: Keyboard controls are not recommended. This car requires smooth and precise use of the brakes, throttle, and steering, and keyboard controls offer very little modulation or feedback.
