How does the hybrid work?
In the "D" box mode, the electric motor is connected only after 95% of the gas, in "S" the electric motor works in tandem with the internal combustion engine always. There is also an EV mode, where the car runs only with the help of an electric motor. If you shift the transmission into S mode in EV mode, the engine will start.
