Opie and all the other butt buddies, re read your Giants Software ToS. Anything with a .i3d is the property of Giants Software and therefore is freeware. Honestly, get over it. You aren't something special because you made a fire truck for a farming game. You are not god's gift to farming simulator. If you didn't want people to have it, you wouldn't have released it to people in your group.

I think people are missing the whole point here, it's obvious Giants doesn't support uploading without permission and I wouldn't be surprised if they don't one day do something about it, people just need to follow Giant's example and get permission before uploading, enough said....

Who's permission do you need to upload a mod that belongs to NOBODY? If it's "obvious" Giant's doesn't support uploading without permission, exactly where do they say this? And to the guy calling himself GUEST, Giant's puts that disclaimer on their site for the benefit of people who own copyright to their works (ie modelers who sell their models online), and thus avoid DMCA issues, for example, in North America

GIANTS would only be concerned if you were selling it. Since no money is being made, they don't care. (I know sites like Uploaded.to make money, but it's so little there's no point messing with it.)

Permissions seem to be making it where no one can do anything anymore. Let's simmer down with them already.

It's the mods that have made this game stay alive, and it's the lack of modders producing mods that will cause the game to die out. Not just this game, but all games.
