What is the point of this for FS, Unless I missed something I don't see a use for this in game. I appreciate the fact that your building mods but why waste it on something that is totally useless and with no value other than it just takes up space.

Let me be clear, first off, I didn't take it. as I said its useless. Second, You obviously have some talent and all I'm asking is why you waste it on useless mods that belong in a different game.
You have every right to have your opinion. If for you a basket for telescopic is useless, do not use it simply and let the other user of the game decided on what is useful to the game or not. Did you take the LEGO car "she is superb and very useful ...
