Everything works well, Except for a pair of auxiliary wheels on the 3-point hitch.

You, or rather, whoever you stole this from needs to set up the differentials correctly.
Something reasonably loose, maybe 1:1.2 between each pair of axles. Then lock those two differentials together with a 50:50, 1:1 diff to simulate the locked driveshaft in the transfer case.
Doing this still lets the machine turn OK, but gives it much more grip.
