Diesel exhaust has been cleaned up, we are no longer farming in the 70's. More additives out in diesel and DEF on top of that, for cleaner burning with less exhaust emissions. If you have a modern diesel belching black smoke, you either have...(1) injector or injection pump issues, rings going on a piston, among other things, signed large truck and heavy equipment mechanic.
