Sale day is coming. The sale bill is out, the machines are lined up, and the bidder numbers are being handed out. Midwest Equipment Auction brings a working consignment auction to your farm. Buy used equipment against NPC bidders and other players, or bring your own machines and let the crowd decide what they’re worth.

No physical sale yard and no walking around kicking tires. It all runs from a clean, native-style auction page in your ESC menu, and it works in single player, multiplayer and on dedicated servers (Multiplayer only tested host side, please do use it on your multiplayer saves and report back any bugs to my discord bug channel).
Features
📅 Scheduled sales with real sale bills

    Sales run on a regular calendar. A sale bill is published a few days ahead, so you can look over the lots before sale day.
    Each sale has 10 to 30 lots, from single-farmer retirement sales to multi-seller consignment sales.
    Every machine has a believable history, with its age, operating hours, damage and paint wear listed.
    Each lot shows a pre-sale estimate built from its real condition.
    Click a lot to see its store picture alongside the details.

🔨 Bid your way

    Buyer numbers: sign up for a free bidder number at each sale, like the real thing.
    Max bids: set your limit before the sale, and the auction bids for you one step at a time, never above your max.
    Live bidding: on sale day, jump in from the floor. One click bids the next step.
    Live bid feed: watch bids come in from different bidder numbers, then hear “Going once… Going twice… SOLD!” A late bid resets the call.
    Hidden reserves: buyers never see the reserve, and the opening bid doesn’t give it away.

🚜 Sale day runs itself

    Lots sell one by one through the sale hours, whether or not the menu is open.
    Skip time and the sale catches up in order, with the same results every time.
    Won machines arrive at the shop as your own vehicles, with their age, hours, damage and wear carried over.
    A machine that can’t be delivered is refunded in full.
    Payment is processed upon closing on a particular Lot, NOT at close of the entire sale. Delivery happens when the entire sale is over. 

💰 Fees that work like a real auction house

    Buyer’s premium: tiered at 12% / 10% / 4%, with a $100 minimum and a $4,000 cap per lot.
    Seller’s commission: 20% / 10% / 5% on the hammer price only.
    Volume rate: sell over $500,000 in one sale and every lot you sold that day drops to the 5% rate.
    All fees are applied like tax brackets, so there’s no price cliff between tiers.

🏷️ Consign your own machines

    Pick any machine your farm owns, set a private reserve (or none), and it goes on the next sale bill.
    Your machine stays on your farm, locked until it sells: no engine, no helper.
    Sold: you’re paid after commission and the machine leaves your farm.
    Didn’t make the reserve: it’s unlocked, and you can relist it.
    Withdrawal fees rise as sale day gets closer. You can’t pull a machine once its lot comes up.

⚖️ Don’t win what you can’t pay for

    Bid on credit like a real sale: win without the cash to pay and it costs you a 25% default fee. 
    The lot goes to the next bidder or back on the next sale bill. 
    You owe any shortfall if it resells lower, and unpaid amounts sit on your auction balance with interest. 
    You’re also suspended from bidding until it’s paid. 
    Prefer it easy?
     Switch penalties to Relaxed: you can only bid what you have, and a default costs the fee only.

    Full results for recent sales: every lot, its buyer number and its price.
    My History shows your buys and sales, with every fee itemized.
    Your auction balance and bidding status at a glance.

⚙️ Your sale, your rules

Hosts and admins can set:

    days between sales
    sale bill lead time
    start time and sale length
    NPC lot count
    fee level
    penalty mode

Changes are saved with your game and take effect from the next sale.

In-game notifications for:

    sale bills and sale start
    your lot selling now
    outbid, won and delivered
    sold and not sold
    defaults

Works great with (optional)

    LS Lifestyle (HS25): adds a Midwest Auction app to your phone. Browse the sale bill, place max bids, watch the live feed and bid live, all from your phone.
    Midwest Ag Finance (coming): sale money pays off your equipment loan first, and lenders can send repossessed machines to auction.

Neither is required. The auction works fully on its own.
Multiplayer

    Built for multiplayer and dedicated servers.
    Every bid and payment is checked by the server.
    Your max bids and reserves stay private to your farm.
    THIS IS TESTED IN A MULTIPLAYER GAME ON THE HOST SIDE WITH NO ERRORS
