Hello everyone! So after a long process and a ton of hours, I am so happy to present to you “Elk Mountain Wyoming” for FS22! It's a 4x map and at the moment only for PC. It is a large river valley with mountains on one side and on the other side large open high plains. This map gives you the opportunity to do just about anything that FS22 has to offer. From farming in the river valley and the high plains, logging in the densely forested mountains and mining across the map. It has 10 predetermined fields. Custom environment and a custom crop calendar. I love the Elm Creek barns except for the fact that you can’t go in them so I’ve taken some of them into blender and I’ve given them interiors and working doors. There are two files that you have to download one is the map and one is the separate buildings pack which include the EMR sawmill and the OK Used Mods dealership that has been updated for FS22. You have to unzip the buildings pack and drag them into your mods folder. Most of the ranch buildings will only show up if you are in new farmer mode. There are 4 other farm locations on the map with the elm creek barns but none of the doors will work until you perches the land. Also after you perches the land you can take down the realty signs by walking up to them and deactivating them. There are 12 elk antler collectibles on the map, I also added 3 new collectibles. There are a few extra map fill types add for future production opportunity.

not one to complain,but the building file is bigger than the map file..and when you put them together...sheeeeebies!
So when I fownload it it syas to unzip and it doesnt show up in my mods on the app I dont know how to fix that. Can someone help me?
sure. you go in your files on your PC and go to the download section right click on the mod it 7-zip then extract files, click the unzipped version highlight the mods inside the folder and put those in your mod folder in fs22 files. hope this helps.
You gotta head into your download files in websearcher then you gotta drag the mod file to your mods file.
i minor complaint and it's VERY minor, but at the main(starter) farm, I tried to put down a chicken and sheep enclosure, and both told me I was colliding with an object, even though I was on ground where I had sold a cpl building I didn't need not sure if this is intentional or not, but had no issue putting down other sheds and generators for additional income.
Good map but ,,, I would add that I can't build a fence for sheep and the horses can't be brushed after training.
So I'm waiting for the update to make the map work properly, thanks!

Awesome map and already have a few hours playing. The complains seem only minor issues so thanks for your hard work.
Not miner issues if you cannot place animal structures down is it, Map wants fixing.
I haven't had any issues putting down animal pens using the place anywhere mod. "Minor" issues compared to most maps but there will always be negative people

It’s not negativity when it comes to fixing bugs that prevent you from playing!
At least those flaws prevent me from playing. Sad because it would be an interesting map to play. That's why I'm waiting for a patch update

this map is about
.25% farming
.25 % logging/mining
and 99.5 % not worth downloading
you're speaking facts, I thought this map was gonna be good, but found out how unusable this map is for farming in a FARMING SIMULATOR game.
the map modder had to satisfy the gamers that are obsessed with logging/mining,
it may be a "great map" for cutting trees and digging in a ditch but it's not a "great map" for farming!
don't @ me haters because its the truth!
That is your "opinion" not truth! You do understand there is plenty of space to create fields without cutting trees? Just because it not your idea of a good map doesn't mean it appeals to other people. I'm not into logging or mining and me as well as others are enjoying this map. Thanks for your opinion

I have a small proposal. I hope the author can improve the problem that the slope of some sections is too steep for heavy trucks to pass. Mountain roads are best built obliquely along topographic contours :)

I need some help I'm having problems with loading the map every time I load the map it stops loading at 60% I've tried removing all of my mods from the mod folder it still does the same thing

Probably because it is an illegal upload.
I'm having an issue where I'm unable to place chicken coops or horse pens anywhere. Modded or base game. I've even purchased other land to to make sure I wasn't missing a collision somewhere. No matter where I try to place them I get the "overlaps another object" message
