It's easier to just add money into your saved game. And you can add a lot more than just a measly million dollars. No cost to you, no having to risk getting a virus from a cheapster trying to rip people off, a much better deal.

I've tried all the different ways to load money. Every time the game reaches 21% loading the game crashes.
I wonder what I'm doing wrong. This worked just fine in 19....

As a follow-up to my post, I found out if you open and save "any" XML file once you try to reload the game, it will crash . I guess it has to do with the master time stamp. Just guessing.
Am I the only one with this problem?
good mod but it is just easier to use lumberjack mod and set exact balance
The Additional Game Settings mod has more options for adding or removing money, crops and supplies. Comes in handy when a map you've worked on for a long time demands a new game save. And a good map WILL get updated along with the game.
